About

Our mission in creating the Irish Spa Awards is to recognise and reward excellence and innovation within the Spa, Beauty & Wellness sector.

Our mission in creating the Irish Spa Awards is to recognise and reward excellence and innovation within the Spa, Beauty & Wellness sector.

Traditionally, a spa represented a place where natural, mineral-rich spring water facilitated therapeutic baths while today the word ‘spa’ is more widely used to refer to a range of holistic health, beauty and wellness services.

Designed to honour industry leaders, guided by the objective advice and support of professional industry experts, the Irish Spa Awards has carefully identified a range of categories to highlight the key areas that define a successful spa business today. By awarding the highest achievers in these categories, we aim to inspire future excellence across the various industry sectors by promoting best practice.

As well as awarding businesses, initiatives, employees and products, we hope that this event will inject excitement and deliver inspiration to an industry that has struggled to survive under difficult economic conditions in the past 10 years.

Ireland is recognised as one of the world's top spa destinations and as our industry continues to grow and innovate, we believe it is crucial to support and recognise key movers and shakers who work tirelessly behind the scenes.

We’re delighted to invite you and your business to participate in the first ever Industry-Orientated Professional Irish Spa Awards.

Judging

Our judging process considers both customer and industry expert views equally, to ensure a balanced assessment process. The judges have carefully constructed a fair adjudication process that evaluates each entry against set criteria for each separate category. A shortlist of the best entries will be compiled from each award category, and these entries will be put forward to the final stage of judging where one winner is selected.
